KSI's Origins
KSI began in 2003 on Unreal Championship. At the time there were only a few small clans, but something big was to come. It all started with a few gamers in a small clan known as MFG where we all played in a server called "Killingservice7". KSI SEVEN 7 and KSI SYRUS 7 asked KSI DEADMEAT 7, for the opportunity to start a new gaming league on his server which came to be known as KSI in 2003. (Killing Service Incorporated)
In 2004 there was a need to capture data and disseminate ideas throughout the rapidly expanding KSI. The three sought out to make this a reality when they stumbled upon current member, KSI JT 7 who they appointed to start creating and developing a platform to get the information to the gamers. Then came the birth of ksiglobal. With the creation of a public site it was decided a change of meaning was in order to better accommodate those gamers who didnt participate in First Person Shooters. So with the dawn of the website KSI was then established with the meaning "Knowledge, Strength, Integrity".
By the end of 2005 KSI had grown substantially and with the party and communication limits on Xbox360 their needed to be a way for members to keep up with each other and organize within their Division. It was at this point the Forums for KSI we’re established to offer just that.
By the Summer of 2007 KSI was hosting 10’s of thousands of gamers and organization of members was at a top priority. It was at this point KSI ViceCaptain developed Ksiclan.net which was and is the standard used for any major gaming community and now being offered under the name “Atlas CMS”.
KSI is the very first "three letter" game league that was created on Xbox Live and has strived to be apart of all electronic gaming platforms. KSI first started out as a diverse gaming league for gamers, by gamers and now has grown to be a gaming corporation that will always accept any online gamer regardless of race, gender or age.
This style of gamer networking had in the past not been tried and was a perfect opportunity for KSI to use the Xbox live chatting capabilities. Through this new online communications technology, KSI was now given a chance to network in a new and extravagant way that has been extremely successful.
